If you already have a QES certificate from abroad should be ok for us to sign documents for trade registry and get your company created
BUT
Thsi electronic signature form aborad will not work with ANAF when you run the company (for e-Factura)
That is why we recommend a Romanian supplier for electronic signatures. Such strategy will serve you well on long rum.

I strong recommend certsign.ro as:
- has website in English
- i work with them for more than 15 years, they are reliable, have decently good call centre (to what i know)
- as i know their application (the electronic signature has some small piece of software to be installed on your laptop) we can mentally understand what you are doing (and asssist you in case you tell me you got blocked)
Signature on a phisical token
I also strongly recommend the signature on token if you physically live in RO. Mai advantages:
- a lot more secure than cloud
- unlimited signatures possible
- can be installed both on Windows and MacOS
Cloud signature would be more appealing if:
- you re not physically in RO (the installation happens via email, oso you could be anywhere in the world and will work)
- you are really pressed by time (you can get in the very same day when you order, vs token who can be received in 1-2 business days)
In any case the electronic signature will be very much useful to you, on long term, as
- it is a personal thing so you can use it in relation with ONRC with any number of companies (so ... no need to sign expensive POA in front of the notary, no need to be phisically in Romania )
- you can also register with ANAF for your personal matters but also to (over)see (in addition to your accountant) all the documentation ... very useful as sometimes accountants misses it
- you can sign the invoices in eInvoice application - you can certify any scanned document (e.g. contract) from temporal time at least (e.g. when this contract was signed? well is not100% sure the moment was physically signed but it is 100% sure that its scanned version was countersigned electronically on March 12, 2025 ... you may benefit in some situations (e.g. uzucapiune)
- you can register the local tax authorities in all major cities (while remote) for registering a house or a car for the local taxes. - very useful in general in the day-to-day commercial activity if you want to look professional in front of your business partners
